Indiana Fall Prevention Coalition To Take Reigns For Home Modification Meetings

Koremen LLC started these quarterly meetings in order to get a better grasp on how Home Modifications were being handled in every corner of Indiana. We invited Industry Experts, Area Agency Supervisors & Care Managers, and State Officials to come together to discuss policy and processes pertaining to all aspects of the Modification process.

Over the course of the past year, we have had excellent dialogue from everyone involved and have really come to a better understanding on how certain things should be handled and who should be handling those tasks. But in order to get further buy-in, we at Koremen knew these meetings should be run by an independent organization. That is where the Indiana Fall Prevention Coalition came in.

Some of our staff had been part of the Coalition and brought it to the board and it was agreed that, Yes, the coalition could help run these quarterly meetings because it does run parallel to their mission of educating about fall prevention. Home modifications primary function serves to help those that wasn't to age in place do just that. A lot of the reason for any home modification is for the homeowner to have a much safer home life so they don't succumb to falls.
